Assistant Sales Officer B. Introduction ASO is the implementer of initiatives at the grass root level and source of competitive intelligence for Tata Steel. His primary responsibilities are to achieve sales targets, implement initiatives at the dealer level, and gather competitive intelligence data. C. Reporting Reports to Sales Manager/Sales Head D. Responsibilities 1. Sales: a. Set Targets for all the dealers in the appointed territory and communicate to dealers b. Motivate dealers to meet the targets/order booking from the dealers c. Achieve Sales Targets d. Collection of Outstanding e. Generate leads and pass them to the dealers f. Locate territories for appointment of new dealers wherever necessary g. Promotion of specific SKUs/new products as per company objectives 2. Sales Promotion: a. Implement marketing and sales promotion schemes b. Monitoring, execution, and maintenance of RIP shops c. Build effective relations with influencers d. Organising influencer and Meet data 3. Service: a. Coordination with Business Manager for fulfillment of orders b. Account reconciliation with the dealers on a monthly basis c. Settlement of quality/delivery complaints d. Ensure RCP, for delivery and Selling by Piece compliance in the area e. Resolve channel conflict among dealers 4. MIS: a. Provide competitors information to MIS and Marketing Manager b. Ensure timely TOC reports of the dealers c. Track and report monthly stocks, capacity utilization and production of the company and competition E. Profile 1. Essential: a. Graduate in any discipline b. 1-2 years of selling experience in retail products c. Good Communication Skills with command over local language and working knowledge of English d. Basic knowledge of computer operation 2. Preferable: a. Relevant experience in same/similar industry b. Age less than 35 years
